HOW TO ACT REALISTICALLY

During this video I promise to explain how it is possible to even “kill” someone realistically in a play or film. You simply take the scene one step at a time. The first step may be your feelings for the person when you first look at them, before the killing, as ‘looking’ can be real in the way I’ve explained in these videos. The next step could be moving towards them, which you can simply make realistically threatening, (not exaggerating, not making angry expressions, just ‘being’ threatening, as I show can be done in these videos to act any feeling. The next step could be genuine anger in your voice. Then , if your hands are hidden from the audience they won’t see the moment of strangling them (if thats the method) which, of course, is just faked – BUT – everything else leading up to that moment is ‘real’ so the audience will imagine that the final stabbing or strangling is real as well. It is simply what you lead them, honestly, to believe.
